What information do I need to provide when making a donation?
Please note that the contact information provided must correspond to the identity of the account holder making the payment. This information will be used as the basis for issuing the relevant tax receipt, where applicable.
How will my personal data be processed when I make a donation?
The European University Institute (EUI) processes personal data in accordance with its Data Protection Policy (President’s Decision No. 10/2019), and for the purposes of managing the donations. Personal data will be strictly processed for the time necessary to fulfil this purpose. Data subjects have rights under Article 16 of the EUI Data Protection Policy, including the right to be informed of the processing of their personal data, to request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, to request erasure where processing is unlawful or no longer lawful (‘right to be forgotten’), and to request restriction of processing under the conditions set out in the Article. Requests shall be addressed to the EUI as data controller by email at donation@eui.eu.
